Scituate Spartans raised over $3000 for the RI Special Olympics at the Polar Plunge on Saturday! These brave high school and middle school students jumped in the freezing ocean with rain, hail, and 32-degree weather!

We are so proud of our middle school students who worked hard last week to earn Spartan shout-outs!

Congratulations to Simona Mancini for winning the state-level NAWIC architectural competition! She was tasked to design a seven-story combination gymnastics training center, mall, apartment building, and parking garage. She added many flourishes, some subtle, like fireproof insulation, and others more bombastic, such as a rooftop garden and common courtyard. Her submission now gets forwarded for consideration on the New England regional level, and we are wishing her good luck!

Look at these proud faces! These second grade students at North Scituate are the newest members of the 500 Reading Steps Club in Mrs. O'Grady's class. These students have read for 125 hours so far this year at school and at home. Well done!

Grade 3 students at Hope Elementary in Mrs. Brady's class paired up to identify the theme in their class text "If the Shoe Fits", which is part of their Traditional Tales unit! They also completed Multiplication Math stations on Valentines day where they graphed conversation hearts, played a multiplication match game, and a Valentine bump game!

Superintendent Andries chatted with Ruby, a 4th-grade student from Clayville! Ruby had wonderful things to say about her classroom experiences, and she also gave us some insight into what it's like to be a student at Clayville Elementary. Thanks for chatting, Ruby!
