Kindergarteners at North Scituate Elementary celebrated a year of learning and growth by writing and illustrating their own class books. Families attended an evening event where each student showcased their page to the audience, and families had their own copies autographed by the authors. What a wonderful night to celebrate an incredible first year of learning. Thank you to Mrs. Slaughter and Ms. Murphy for making this event so special!

Congratulations to Spartan Pride recipient, Maggie Collins! Maggie has always gone above and beyond what is expected of a student. As a sophomore, she was named the captain of the tennis team and she held the position for 3 years. She is a state leader for HOSA and attended and placed at state and international conferences. Maggie helped our school earn its Project ADAM Heart Safe School status and she has helped staff members at faculty meetings learn about AED's and cardiac arrest so that everyone can be better prepared for emergency situations. We can't wait to see the great things she will accomplish in the future. Thanks for being a Spartan, Maggie!

Congratulations to Spartan Pride recipient, Abbey Theroux! Abbey participated in a challenging school production this year. She went above and beyond acting as a team player, keeping the cast going and adding her own insight and ideas. Her cleverness came out in how she portrayed 6 different characters shifting from one character to another in split seconds. She was dedicated and helped run and organize rehearsals over the February vacation. She is very dedicated in what she does with her extracurricular activities and her school work. We are looking forward to watching Abbey reach her goals! Thanks for being a Spartan, Abbey!
