On Saturday, we celebrated our amazing Spartan seniors — both cheerleaders and football players — surrounded by family, teammates, and fans.
Thank you for the years of dedication, leadership, and spirit you’ve brought to the field and sidelines. Once a Spartan, always a Spartan!

Mr. McGovern's class is off to a great start this year! We have been busy in math learning multiplication and division. We have been exploring local Scituate town history and helping students to take pride in their community. We ventured into the past to learn about dinosaurs and fossils in science. We even "raced" dinosaurs to see if we could outrun them, we unfortunately could not!

We are continuing our Community Meetings on Friday mornings at Hope Elementary School! During these assemblies, we are led in morning announcements and the Pledge of Allegiance by our student council representatives. We also review school rules/policies, learn about a special social emotional topic, celebrate Husky Hoorays, birthdays, and other student awards.

Congratulations to our middle school students who earned Spartan Shout-outs last week! Keep up the great work!!

We are proud to share that Scituate Middle School has been recognized as a Project ADAM Heart Safe School. October is National Principals Month, and we have some of the best around at the Scituate School Department! Our principals go above and beyond for our students every day, making sure our students are experiencing engaging learning and feel safe and supported in their environments, all while supporting our educators and staff so that they can create the best classroom experiences for our students. We are so grateful to have them working hard in our schools. Thank you, SHS Principal Hassell, Assistant Principal Goffe, SMS Principal Morel, Hope Principal Toomey, Clayville Principal Boutiette, and North Scituate Principal Gallivan!
