
During the last few weeks of school, Hope students had the opportunity to be entertained by the Bwana Iguana Reptile Adventure! This exciting program entertained students in grades k-5 as they learned about the mysterious world of reptiles and amphibians!


To end the year, PE students at Clayville played games related to chasing, fleeing, and dodging! Additionally, students played manipulative skill games. All students had tons of fun!




The 4th and 5th grade Clayville Chorus had a fantastic performance during the month of May at the Herbert Nursing Home!



On May 21st, Hope students and families participated in Hope's Arts Night! Families had the opportunity to participate in STEAM activities, explore student artwork created throughout the year, listen to a fabulous chorus concert, shop the Scholastic Book Fair, and enjoy some dinner from Pam's Grill Food Truck!


High-five Fridays at North Scituate Elementary are the best, especially when they involve Glory (a Therapy Dog in Training)! We can't wait to have more high-five Fridays in the fall! A special thank you to SRO Sgt. Parenti and the SHS sports teams for making Friday mornings at North Scituate so special.


Preschoolers at Clayville sang songs and demonstrated their letter, sound, and number knowledge during celebration ceremonies on May 24th!




Clayville students made such special memories during the last month of school! 5th grade students had a blast during their field trip to Boston.





Congratulations to Spartan Pride recipient, Maggie Collins! Maggie has always gone above and beyond what is expected of a student. As a sophomore, she was named the captain of the tennis team and she held the position for 3 years. She is a state leader for HOSA and attended and placed at state and international conferences. Maggie helped our school earn its Project ADAM Heart Safe School status and she has helped staff members at faculty meetings learn about AED's and cardiac arrest so that everyone can be better prepared for emergency situations. We can't wait to see the great things she will accomplish in the future. Thanks for being a Spartan, Maggie!

Congratulations to Spartan Pride recipient, Anna Floor! Anna works hard for her achievements and puts in the time it takes to meet academic challenges. She is the student in class you can count on to think ahead, be prepared, work well with peers, and communicate well with teachers. She is a student-athlete and juggles a variety of responsibilities maturely and responsibly. She is thoughtful and has often volunteered to take care of classroom plants. In honor of Principal Hassell's last year serving as the President of the Rhode Island Association of School Principals, we held a celebration for him in the school library and invited RIASP Executive Director, Don Rebello, who congratulated Mr. Hassell for the work he's done and presented him with a personalized chair!



Congratulations to Spartan Pride recipient, Abbey Theroux! Abbey participated in a challenging school production this year. She went above and beyond acting as a team player, keeping the cast going and adding her own insight and ideas. Her cleverness came out in how she portrayed 6 different characters shifting from one character to another in split seconds. She was dedicated and helped run and organize rehearsals over the February vacation. She is very dedicated in what she does with her extracurricular activities and her school work. We are looking forward to watching Abbey reach her goals! Thanks for being a Spartan, Abbey!

Yesterday, Hope Elementary had its Kindergarten Celebration! Students were very excited to show their families their favorite songs. Once their performances were finished, students sat down with their families to watch our end-of-the-year slideshow. There were so many smiles and lots of laughs!







Congratulations to Spartan Pride recipient, Soleil Taylor! Soleil is an exceptional student who comes in every day with a smile on her face. She is compassionate and takes the time to help her peers with classwork and she challenges herself in everything she does. Thanks for being a Spartan, Soleil!


Congratulations to Spartan Pride recipient, Aidan Mycroft! Aidan has grown immensely in his four years at SHS. He advocated for himself to be challenged more academically over the years, showing initiative and drive. He has worked hard in his courses to achieve good grades and shows a genuine interest in learning. He is always respectful and polite to everyone he meets and is always willing to help out when asked. Outside of school, he earned his Eagle Scout ranking, further showing his ability to work hard and achieve great things! We look forward to seeing the great things you'll achieve in the future, Aidan!
