8th-grade students created a model where light touched each object! This activity allowed students to determine the properties of light. They learned that light travels in a straight line and that light can be transmitted through, reflected off, or absorbed by objects.


At the beginning of the 2024-2025 school year, each Feinstein Jr. Scholar received their own individually numbered Feinstein Jr. Scholar Golden Ticket from their school! These Golden Tickets give Jr. Scholars a chance to win money for their school, money for a non-profit of their choice, & other special prizes! Congratulations to sixth grader Valentina! She named St. Jude's Children's Hospital as the nonprofit to receive a $500 donation.

Students at Hope Elementary celebrated Valentine's Day by wearing their comfiest pajamas to school! The students got to celebrate with such a special reward because they raised over $600 in support of those affected by the California Wildfires. Thank you to our Hope families for such a huge turnout of support!


We are looking forward to seeing students perform at the Pops Concert at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, March 19th, at Scituate High School! Students have been working hard to put together an amazing performance, and we want to welcome the Scituate community to send our student musicians positive messages to show support!

in February! Students receive Positive Office Referrals from a faculty or staff member for EXEMPLARY behavior in the following categories: Growth Mindset, Problem Solving, Managing Emotions, Effort, Kindness, and Goal Setting.



Congratulations Senior Jaiden Divona for receiving an Anchor Award in the RI art competition! Her work is on display at the Alex and Ani Art Center at RIC. Gallery hours to view the state's exhibit are March 1st-16th from 11:00 am-5:00 pm.


Believe it or not, Monday, February 10th was already our 100th day of school! Students at Hope Elementary celebrated by decorating 100th-day t-shirts that showcased their excitement for being 100 days smarter, sharper, and sweeter!

On Friday, March 7th, Biomedical Pathway students attended the Rhode Island HOSA-Future Health Professionals - FHP State Leadership Conference! After preparing all year for this day, students gave speeches and performed skills for judges and were also able to network with other students from around the state.

Congratulations to our middle school students who earned Spartan Shout-outs last week!


Students at North Scituate completed their Turkey Trot challenge back in November and have patiently waited for their reward. We decided to make it "snow play" extra recess! Students had a great time outside!



Mrs. LaSalle’s & Mrs. Dailey’s Geometry classes worked in teams to create classroom anchor charts illustrating the different methods for proving triangle congruence! These charts will be used as a resource throughout their study of congruent triangles.



Grade 8 students gathered evidence to prove or refute the question, "Is all light the same?"


The Scituate Spartan Boys Wrestling Team had a phenomenal performance at the 2025 RIIL Varsity State Championship, securing an 8th place finish out of 34 teams!
With four state medalists and multiple wrestlers battling deep into the tournament, the Spartans showcased their determination and talent on the biggest stage!

Every Spartan wrestler left it all on the mat, and their hard work paid off with an impressive top-10 team finish!





Seventh grade math students spent time preparing for their rational numbers test using Prodigy, which is a video game where the students "battle" each other by solving equations!
